In British Columbia, biobased plastic recycling bins are getting more popular in Western Canada with a new purchase order from London Drugs for Solegear Bioplastic Technologies’ plant-based organization products. The 90% plant-based ‘good natured’ branded products, like the home recycling bins that London Drugs ordered, are made in Canada using Braskem’s ‘I’m Green’ plant-based polyethylene material which replaces the usual fossil fuel based polyethylene.

London Drugs has over 79 stores across Canada and an online retail website, expanding Solegear Bioplastic Technologies’ customer base.

Paul Antoniadis, CEO of Solegear, told MarketWired, “We consider ourselves very fortunate to have strong collaborative relationships with our customers, like London Drugs, who push us to seek out the very latest plant-based materials and turn them into everyday household products that are better for the health of our planet and ourselves.”
