In Malaysia, bedding company Getha is promising better, healthier sleep with biobased fabrics.

The company has launched Tencel Nano Silver, a line of bedding that uses the cellulose fibers from wood pulp. The material absorbs moisture and has better breathability than synthetic fabrics. It also eliminates electrostatic charge, is less prone to wrinkles, and is infused with Nano Silver for hygiene purposes. Tencel Nano Silver is currently available in champagne, grey, and light blue.

Getha, already a seller of 100% natural latex bedding, adds that it has accreditations from ECO Umweltinstitute, Germany; Oeko Tex, Switzerland; and the Malaysian Rubber Board.

“Moving forward, we are constantly looking for new technologies and innovation to incorporate into our products to help people sleep better,” Getha business planning and communications manager Amelia Tan tells Star2.com.
