Digest Bioeconomy Index jumps 1.68 percent to 52.13 as advanced bio leaps

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, jumped 1.68 percent to 52.13 as advanced bio leapt.

For the day, Amyris (AMRS) soared 21.50 percent to $1.30, while TerraVia (SZYM) jumped 3.08 percent to $2.01.  Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) gave back 1.96 percent to $0.26.

Overall, advances led declines by a 7 to 2 ratio for the day.
