Digest Bioeconomy Index edges up 0.27 percent to 47.85 as chemicals rise

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, edged up 0.27 percent to 47.85 as chemicals rose. For the day, Evogene (EVGN) rallied 6.83 percent to $7.4, while Gevo (GEVO) was up 4.19 percent to $0.39.  Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) lost 7.32 percent to $3.42. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
