Biofuels Digest Index falls to 67.34 as ethanol equities drop

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, shed 1.07 percent to 67.34 as ethanol equities dropped. For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) sagged 5.34 percent to $3.37, while KiOR (KIOR) lost 5.44 percent to $2.26. Among other equities, Syngenta (SYG) dumped 3.44 percent to $77.00. Overall, advances led declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
