Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 68.66 as chemical equities soar

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 1.43 percent to 68.66 as chemical equities soared. For the day, Ceres rocked ahead 10.74 percent to $1.65, while BioAmber (BIOA) surged 19.18 percent to $5.84. Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) was off 9.93 percent to $2.54. Overall, advances led declines 5 to 2 for the day.
