Biofuels Digest Index flat at 67.69 as chemical equities retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, was flat at 67.69  as  chemical equities retreated.  For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) dropped 4.20 percent to $3.65, while Solazyme (SZYM) declined 2.79 percent to $10.79. Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) was up 6.42 percent to $2.82. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
