EPA grants Part 79 registration to KiOR for cellulosic gasoline

In Texas, KiOR has been granted Part 79 registration for the company’s gasoline blendstock from the EPA, allowing it to sell its cellulosic gasoline. KiOR is the first company to achieve such a milestone in the country. The company’s Golden Triangle facility is expected to come online later this year but no date has been set.
