New York gives Buffalo Biodiesel a month to sort permitting issues before shutting it down
In New York state, WIVB news reports the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has given Buffalo Biodiesel a month to fix its issues that have kept it without a Solid Waste Management Facility permit for the past seven years, or it will be shut down. Although the company deals with used cooking oil, a liquid, and not solid waste, the regulations have changed over the years so that UCO falls under solid waste rules.
