Illovo Sugar protests Tanzanian plan to import ethanol from Brazil

In Tanzania, the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corp. plans to import fuel ethanol from Brazil but the move has upset Illovo Sugar, the country’s major sugar producer who currently has plans to install a 12 million liter per year ethanol production facility set to come online in mid-2013.
