In South Korea, DS Dansuk will contribute land and facilities valued at 41.2 billion won to its subsidiary DS Orvion, consolidating its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) development activities under the dedicated business unit. The assets form part of the company’s 166,581-square-meter Gunsan Net-Zero Complex project in North Jeolla Province, where SAF production facilities are planned. DS Orvion will oversee plant construction, technology acquisition and future operations. DS Dansuk aims to achieve annual SAF production capacity of 300,000 metric tons by 2030. The company also completed SAF feedstock pretreatment facilities at its Pyeongtaek Plant 1 in November 2024, strengthening its feedstock supply chain.
