Córdoba closes the 2025/26 season with a record corn production of around 26 million tons
In Argentina, Data Portuaria reported that the 2025/26 corn harvest in Córdoba is projected to reach approximately 26 million tons, a record production for the province, according to the Córdoba Grain Exchange (BCCBA) agronomic report.
According to the report, the corn harvest was delayed for much of the winter. High humidity and cloudy days slowed the natural drying of the grain and, in some areas, postponed harvesting by nearly a month, according to the report.
The entity notes that the volume remains a record for the province, supported by good yields and a considerably larger planted area than in the previous cycle.
