Saudi biofuel supplier sets sights on Qatar bunker market
In Qatar, Kingdom Konsult and Saudi Arabia’s The Biofuel Company announced an exclusive partnership Oct. 6 to introduce B100 biofuel, including for marine bunkering, by combining the Qatari firm’s market development capabilities with the Saudi company’s fuel supply and technical expertise.
Manifold Times reports the agreement was announced at AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai, with Kingdom Konsult responsible for developing commercial opportunities and engaging potential customers. The Biofuel Company will provide fuel, certifications, product documentation and deployment support.
The Saudi company said it has bunkered vessels with pure B100 in Saudi Arabia, and its senior management has participated in biofuel bunkering operations in the United Arab Emirates since 2020.
The partners will explore pilot projects, demonstrations and commercial deployments across shipping, transportation, industry and other sectors seeking to reduce emissions.
