Ukraine’s corn exports almost doubled to 1.8 million tons
In Ukraine, Korabelov.Info reported that Ukraine had exported 4.6 million tons of cereals and pulses from the beginning of the 2026/2027 marketing year and as of 21 September.
These figures were released by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In September, 928,000 tons of grain were shipped abroad. A comparison with the same period last year shows an increase in corn deliveries and a reduction in exports of wheat, barley and flour, according to the report.
The report noted that a total of 1.8 million tons of corn had been shipped so far this marketing year, compared with 905,000 tons a year earlier.
In the wheat segment, a total of 2.3 million tons were shipped this marketing compared with 4.1 million tons in the same period last year, the report added.
