Anec sees Brazil soybean exports rising in September
In Brazil, Datamar News reported that Brazil soybean exports are expected to reach 7.74 million metric tons in September, about 760,000 tons more than in the same month last year, according to the first monthly shipment forecast released by grain exporters’ association Anec.
Brazilian corn exports, by contrast, are expected to post another year-on-year decline in September, falling to 5.2 million metric tons from nearly 7 million tons in September 2025, according to the report.
Based on volumes already shipped this year and the initial September forecast, Anec estimates that soybean exports in the first nine months of 2026 will total 102 million metric tons. That would already put shipments close to the annual record of 108.68 million tons set in 2025.
For corn, exports through the end of September are projected at 19.35 million metric tons, less than half of the 41.59 million tons shipped in all of 2025, the report added.
