August 25, 2026 |

In Taiwan, BigGo Finance reported that DS Dansuk announced that it has established “DS Orvion,” a new entity dedicated to its sustainable aviation fuel business, accelerating the construction of SAF production facilities.

DS Orvion, a subsidiary of DS Dansuk, will take full charge of the “Gunsan Net-Zero Complex” project underway at the Gunsan National Industrial Complex in North Jeolla province, in South Korea.

The new entity will also be responsible for building domestic and international supply chains spanning from feedstock procurement to SAF production. DS Dansuk plans to use DS Orvion as the control tower for its SAF business to enhance investment and operational expertise, according to the report.

DS Dansuk completed SAF pretreatment feedstock production facilities at its Pyeongtaek Plant 1 in November 2024. The company is also continuously diversifying its feedstock supply chain, targeting annual SAF production of 300,000 tons by 2030, the report added.
