In Brazil, UOL reported that the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) revised downward its estimate for soybean exports in August, to 10.56 million tons, compared to 10.88 million tons projected the previous week.

Even with the adjustment, the volume represents a 30.3% increase compared to the 8.11 million tons shipped in August 2025. Compared to July of this year, when Brazil exported 12.04 million tons, the new estimate indicates a 12.3% decrease. From January to July, soybean shipments totaled 84.62 million tons, a 5.8% increase compared to the 79.99 million tons of the same period in 2025.

For corn, Anec raised its August projection to 5.63 million tons, compared to 5.17 million tons estimated the previous week.
