Argentina recorded a historic record for corn exports in July and projects a production of 70.5 million tons.
In Argentina, Data Portuaria reported that the Rosario Board of Trade (BCR) stated that Argentina’s 2025/26 corn production will reach 70.5 million tons, marking an increase of 2.5 million tons compared to the previous estimate. This brings the total supply for the season to 77.0 million tons, with projected ending stocks of 12.3 million tons.
The pace of the export program kept pace with these record figures. During July, 5.14 million tons of corn were shipped, becoming the highest monthly export volume in Argentine history, according to the report.
This is the second time that shipments abroad have exceeded the 5 million ton mark in a single month, following April’s record of 5.08 million tons. For the season to date (March-July), shipments total 22.21 million tons, reaching 51% of the target, the report added.
