Boilermech to develop $27.1M biomass co-gen plant with NutriFood and Synbio Power

In Malaysia, Boilermech Sdn Bhd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with QL NutriFood Sdn Bhd and Synbio Power Sdn Bhd to provide a framework for the parties’ collaboration through the Special Purpose Vehicle, namely BM BioEnergy Innovations Sdn Bhd setting out their participation in the venture.

The SPV is intended to develop, construct, operate and own an 8MW (net export) co-generation biomass power in Hutan Melintang, Perak, with an estimated project value of RM110 million, subject to the terms and conditions of the Shareholders’ Agreement once finalised. 

BSB and QL NutriFood each holds a 40% equity interest, while Synbio holds the remaining 20% equity interest in BM BEI.
