Corn harvest progresses to 69.1% of the area in Brazil, Conab says
In Brazil, UOL reported that the second-crop corn harvest in Brazil, referring to the 2025/26 cycle, reached 69.1% of the planted area as of July 31, an advance of 10.8 percentage points compared to the previous week, reported the National Supply Company (Conab) in its weekly crop progress bulletin.
Compared to the same period of the previous harvest, when 75.2% of the work had been completed, there is a delay of 6.1 percentage points. Compared to the average of the last five years, of 74.5%, the delay is 5.4 percentage points.
Among the main producing states, Mato Grosso has already harvested 95.7% of the area, practically in line with the average of the last five years, of 95.6%, according to the report.
