Repsol teams with Toyota, BMW and Bosch on 100% renewable gasoline trial
In Spain, Repsol, in collaboration with Toyota Motor Europe (TME), BMW Group and Bosch, announced the launch in Spain of a pioneering six-month-long trial. The initiative, which began in early July, will demonstrate in real conditions the potential of vehicles that run exclusively on renewable fuels.
The project will feature a fleet of nearly 20 Toyota and BMW vehicles, powered by Repsol’s 100% renewable Nexa 95 petrol and backed by Bosch’s digital fuel traceability technology.
This pilot will provide real evidence that vehicles operating exclusively on renewable fuels can be deployed on a large scale, contributing to the decarbonisation of mobility in Europe through a complementary and technologically neutral approach that leaves no one behind.
