FatHopes Energy, MotionECO sign MoU to support SAF production
In Malaysia, FatHopes Energy and MotionECO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership focused on the sourcing and long-term supply of second-generation biofuel feedstock to support SAF production.
Under the collaboration, MotionECO will act as FatHopes Energy’s strategic sourcing partner for Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and other qualifying sustainable feedstocks originating from China.
The partnership is designed to support the development of a secure, traceable and scalable feedstock supply chain, with a shared ambition of achieving stable-state supply volumes exceeding 200,000 metric tons per annum, FatHopes Energy said.
Through the proposed partnership, MotionECO will lead feedstock collection, sourcing, sustainability certification and logistics management, while FatHopes Energy will serve as the intended off-taker and downstream development partner.
