Hexxco launches capital raise to build East Coast green hydrogen fleet fueling pilot
In the UK, Fuel Cells Works reported that Hexxco, a U.S.-based hydrogen infrastructure developer, announced the launch of its capital raise to fund the company’s first green hydrogen pilot project designed specifically for commercial fleet fueling operations.
The pilot, planned for Flemington, New Jersey, will serve as a demonstration of Hexxco’s infrastructure model focused on delivering affordable, locally produced hydrogen to commercial fleets operating throughout the Northeast corridor, according to the report.
The planned pilot facility will utilize solar-powered electrolysis to produce green hydrogen on-site. The project is intended to demonstrate a scalable model that can be replicated at strategic fleet locations throughout the Northeast and eventually across the United States, the report added.
