INERATEC secures ISCC EU certification for its Power-to-Liquid plant
In Germany, INERATEC has reached a key regulatory milestone: its PtL plant ERA ONE has received the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) EU certification under the Renewable Energy Directive (EU) 2018/2001 (RED III). This makes ERA ONE the first Power-to-Liquid plant in the world whose synthetic fuels are fully recognized as RFNBO.
With ISCC EU certification, the synthetic fuels produced at ERA ONE can be counted towards binding RFNBO sub-targets in transport, aviation, and industry. The certification is therefore an important signal not only for INERATEC, but for the broader e-Fuels industry.
