Enovos gives FID on LuxHyVal project
In Luxembourg, following Enovos’ Final Investment Decision (FID), LuxHyVal is now moving from the planning phase into the implementation phase. Engineering and construction activities can now begin. Construction is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2026, while commissioning of the facility is planned for 2027. The project is supported by the European Union, the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and the Luxembourgish State, reflecting its importance for the country’s energy transition and the development of low-carbon solutions.
At the heart of the project will be a 5 MW electrolyser powered by renewable electricity, producing renewable hydrogen locally for industrial and mobility applications in Luxembourg.
