Anec raises its projection for soybean shipments in June to 14.38 million tons.
In Brazil, UOL reported that the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) has raised its projection for soybean shipments in June to 14.38 million tons, considering the average of the estimated range between 13.95 million and 14.80 million tons.
This volume represents a 16.3% increase compared to the 12.36 million tons projected the previous week and a 4.3% growth over the 13.79 million tons exported in June 2025.
With this revision, Brazil is expected to end the first half of the year with soybean exports between 72.47 million and 73.31 million tons, above the 68.05 million tons shipped in the same period last year.
For corn, Anec raised its estimate for June shipments to 645,800 tons, compared to 485,700 tons projected the previous week, an increase of 33.0%. The volume also exceeds by 13.6% the 568,700 tons exported in June 2025, with the gradual progress of the second crop harvest, the report added.
