Conab reports that the soybean harvest of the 2025/26 crop in Brazil reached 99.8% of the sown area
In Brazil, Canal Rural reported that the National Supply Company (Conab) reported that the soybean harvest of the 2025/26 crop reached 99.8% of the sown area in the country until June 5. The advance was 0.1 percentage point compared to the previous week.
In the same survey, summer corn reached 87.7% of the harvested area, while winter corn 2025/26, also called safrinha, reached 3% of the planted area, according to the report.
Among the states with work still in progress, Maranhão registered 96% of the area harvested, Piauí 99%, and Santa Catarina 99.6%.
In the summer corn harvest, progress advanced 3.1 percentage points in one week, from 84.6% to 87.7% of the planted area, said Conab.
