Innit buys ShopWell for personalized nutrition guidance while planning, shopping and cooking

In California, Innit, a leading food tech innovator, acquired ShopWell Labs, Inc., a personalized food discovery platform with features ranging from meal planning, shopping and preparation, to automated cooking on smart appliances. ShopWell’s patented algorithm analyzes ingredients, nutrition, location and the popularity of over 400,000 products.

Launching later in 2017, the Innit platform will allow consumers to scan a product label for immediate information or connect their store loyalty card to automatically track food purchases and receive curated recommendations.
