In Ohio, Nordson Corporation acquired Spokane, Washington based ACE Production Technologies which designs and produces soldering systems for electronics assembly. Details on the acquisition amount or what it means for ACE employees was not disclosed. Nordson, which operates and has offices in almost 40 countries, makes products and systems for use in electronics as well as a wide variety of other markets including packaging, nonwovens, medical, appliances, energy, transportation, construction, and more. The technology and products Nordson creates is used for very precise distribution of and processing of biomaterials, adhesives, coatings, polymers and plastics, and sealants. The acquisition will help Nordson grow its capabilities in the electronics industry in particular.
