Mitsui, Petrobras and Camargo Correa partner on $1.5 billion Brazilian ethanol pipeline

In Brazil, Mitsui, Petrobras and Camargo Correa have combined their pipeline building efforts into a single entity, PMCC, that will link Uberaba in Minas Gerais to the sugarcane processing center of Paulinha in Sao Paulo state, and then to ports and export terminal in Sao Sebastiao and Ilha d’Agua.

Brazil’s Petrobras to invest $2.8 billion in ethanol, biodiesel

In Brazil, Petrobras Biocombustível announced that it will invest $2.8 billion in biodiesel and ethanol business between 2009 to 2013, an 87 percent increase from its previous plan. Petrobras launches Montes Claros biodiesel plant ahead of schedule; signs Q1 biodiesel contracts

Brazil’s Petrobras says biodiesel plants exceeding production targets; new plant to open in Minas Gerais next month
