Michigan’s Gov. Granholm signs 11-bill renewable fuels package
In Michigan, Governor Jennifer Granholm signed 11 bills supporting the expansion of renewable fuels. The legislation established five renewable energy renaissance zones, tax incentives for biomass harvesting, conversion of gas pumps to support ethanol and biodiesel distribution and establishes a Renewable Fuels Fund.
