Blackhawk Biofuels earns provisional BQ-9000 producer status from NBB, NBAC

In Illinois, Renewable Energy Group announced that Blackhawk Biofuels has earned BQ-9000 Producer status from the National Biodiesel Board and the National Biodiesel Accreditation Committee. The 45 Mgy plant in Danville markets all its biodiesel through REG.
The National Biodiesel Accreditation Committee awarded Blackhawk’s BQ-9000 Producer status on a provisional basis based on the REG network’s quality control production processes and the facility’s documentation systems.

Full BQ-9000 Producer status is expected in early fall after an onsite audit. BQ-9000 is a voluntary quality-assurance program that helps companies improve fuel testing.
