In Maine, the Old Town Fuel & Fiber mill, formerly the site of the Red Shield ethanol project, which filed for bankruptcy last November, is now the home of a biobutanol project owned by Patriarch Partners.
Patriarch has invested $40 million in the project and will produce biobutanol from cellulosic feedstocks, according to a report in Reuters.
