Algae pioneer Solazyme adds government affairs exec; InEnTec taps new CEO
Algal oils pioneer Solazyme appointed a new Senior VP of government relations, while waste-to-fuel leader InEnTec appointed a new CEO.
In California, David Isaacs will become senior vice president of government relations at Solazyme, arriving from the Washington office of Hewlett-Packard where he was director of government affairs.
In Oregon, InEnTec appointed Dr. Karl A. Schoene as CEO, replacing Jeffrey Surma, who has become Chief Executive Officer of S4 Energy Solutions LLC, a new joint venture between InEnTec LLC and Waste Management Corporation that will develop, operate and market plasma gasification facilities using InEnTec’s Plasma Enhanced Melter technology. Dr. Schoene joins InEnTec from Akzo Nobel, where he was Vice President and Global SBU Manager – Organometallic Specialties.
