In Colombia, Agricultural minister Andres Fernandez Acosta said that national ethanol production will double to 233 Mgy by the end of this year based on six new projects that will add 132 Mgy in new production capacity.
The country is seeking new foreign direct investment to help increase the pace of biofuels development.
