In Sweden, the Stockholm BEST project, which focuses on the need for biofuel solutions to thrive, said that “clean vehicles” accounted for 32 per cent of Stockholm auto sales last year and that clean cars command an overall five percent market share.
The organization said that they developed an effective counter to anti-ethanol rhetoric, but have failed to preserve a key exemption from the congestion tax used to discourage fossil fuel usage.
