In Iowa, Absolute Energy said it was readying a go/no-go decision on a $2.4 million corn oil extraction addition for its Mitchell County ethanol plant.
The Iowa Economic Development Board approved $200,000 in assistance to add conversion equipment and storage to their current facility. The company said that the corn oil would be sold into the animal feed market, or sold to a biodiesel plant.
