Biofuels Digest Index soars 5.99 percent to 3-month high of 56.06

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, soared 5.99 percent to 56.06, as large caps advanced again. The Index reached its highest point since January, as Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) rose 8.01 percent to $26.97, while BP gained 4.70 percent to $48.34. Among small caps, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) roared 68.06 up to $1.21. Overall, advances led declines 6 to 1 for the day.
