In Nebraska, the Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee for the idled 50 Mgy Beatrice Biodiesel plant in Beatrice said that he has not found a buyer for the biodiesel plant, despite seven months of searching. The Beatrice Daily Sun, in profiling the plant’s lack of a buyer, said that the National Biodiesel Board reports that at least one-third of US biodiesel plants are idled, and that only one plant in Nebraska is still operating.
