Background, commentary and action items on Low Carbon Fuel Standard, blend wall waiver, and proposed Renewable Energy standard

Scott Miller, in his BIOenergy BlogRing update, has provided excellent commentary on the impact of the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard, U.S. EPA Blend Wall Waiver, California’s Waste Diversion Restrictions, and a particularly interesting note on faults in the language of the Waxman / Markey Bill, proposing a federal Renewable Energy Standard, that may exclude large amounts of forest biomass from being utilized as a biofuel feedstock.
