Good Morning America highlighted a study by MainStreet.com that concluded that Nebraska was the “happiest state”, citing the ethanol industry which has created 500,000 green collar jobs in the state. Good Morning America said that the state’s “ethanol plants, in particular, have flourished and the ongoing effort to grow industry has enabled people who lose jobs to find new ones relatively easily.”
