Biofuels Digest Index tumbles 3.95 percent to 47.95 as ADM plunges

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, tumbled 3.95 percent to 47.95 as ADM was downgraded. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 9.90 percent to $25.66, while British Petroleum (BP) fell 1.32 percent to $39.64.  Among small caps, Cosan (CZZ) jumped 17.72 percent to $4.65 on Petrobras takeover speculation.  Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
