Biofuels Digest Index falls 1.89 percent to 49.92 as large caps fall

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.89 percent to 49.92 as large caps slid. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.45 percent to $2, while British Petroleum (BP) rose 4.39 percent to $41.86.  Among small caps, Cosan (CZZ) jumped 12.86 percent to $3.95 as Petrobras takeover speculation mounted.  Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
