In Canada, Greenway Biodiesel is preparing to open a 5 Mgy biodiesel plant in Manitoba, that will export biodiesel to the Minnesota market. Company executives said that they will export 100 percent of the fuel to take advantage of the $1 biodiesel blending credit in the US. The Manitoba government has pledged to establish a B5 biodiesel mandate before then end of 2009. The Greenway plant will be the first in Manitoba.
