The National Corn Growers Association has established a climate issues task force that will examine cap-and trade, direct and indirect land use change impact, low carbon fuel standards and other climate related policy issues. The task force will in the short term focus on responding to the proposed indirect land-use change penalties imposed on corn ethanol by California’s proposed Low Carbon Fuel Standard.
