South Africa signs pact to export up to 108 Mgy of biodiesel to Germany from new canola-based megarefinery

In South Africa, the national government has signed an agreement to export to Germany up to 90 percent of biodiesel output from a planned 120 Mgy canola-based biodiesel plant. Bloomberg cited plans to commence production in 2010 and said an enviromental site assessment was still underway.
