Australia’s $200 million Riverina ethanol project on hold; will re-start when economy improves

In Australia, the $200 million Riverina ethanol project in New South Wales has been tabled by Marinna Energy, but the company said that it will be restarted as soon as economic conditions justify. The company said that the New South Wales Government’s E10 ethanol mandate scheduled for 2010-11 would make the project feasible going forward.
