B100 Permaflo Biodiesel tested in Anchorage-to-Arctic road test; research team will camp using B100 power generators during 5-day winter test in temps as low as -67.
In Alaska, the Indiana Soybean Alliance has funded a test of B100 Permaflo Biodiesel that will be include a winter based drive from Anchorage to Fairbanks on B100, and onto Denali National Park before continuing to the Arctic Circle. The test team will camp overnight in tents that will use B100-only generators in temperatures up to 67 degrees below zero.
The ISA has partnered with the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), the Alaska Agricultural on the test, which commenced yesterday and will conclude March 9. Daily reports and images are available at www.indianasoybean.com. agriculture, forestry, and new technology development.
