More cars were debuted at this week’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit, with nary a word about flex-fuel vehicles from GM, Ford and other manufacturers. Chrysler previewed the range-extended (hybrid gasoline-electric) 200C EV Concept, a sports sedan with an electric range of 40400 electric-extended range, while this week Tesla announced it was now taking orders for its all-electric two-seater Roadster. Ford announced an all-electric commercial van and small car for 2010, and a plug-in hybrid for 2012.
