California’s BioCentric says its closed loop algae system nearly 4X less expensive per sq meter than competition

In California, BioCentric Energy Holdings said that it had developed an “end-to-end” closed-loop algae-to-energy solution with costs of $20 per square meter, compared to a $77-$200 per square meter cost the company described as the range for its compeitors. The company said that its  technology was available on a licensing basis and was supplemented by equipment sales and royalties.
